Cookie Policy

Effective date: 12 October 2026

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits, so the site can recognise the browser. Similar technologies do comparable things by other means: localStorage and sessionStorage keep data in the browser directly, tracking pixels report a page view by requesting a tiny image from another server, and browser fingerprinting identifies a device by the combination of its settings rather than by storing anything at all.

This page sets out what calmtrait.online does with each of them. The short version is that it does nothing with any of them except the last entry in the list.

What we checked

Cookies set by this site
Not used. No page on calmtrait.online sets a first-party cookie of any kind, for any purpose, including session identifiers and preferences.
Cookies set by others through this site
Not used. No third party can set a cookie through these pages, because no third-party content is loaded: no analytics, no advertising, no pixels, no social buttons, no comment system and no embedded video or maps.
localStorage
Not used. Nothing is written to it. This is why the checklists do not remember which boxes you have ticked, on this visit or any other.
sessionStorage
Not used. Nothing is written to it, so nothing persists even within a single browsing session.
IndexedDB
Not used. No database is created in your browser.
Tracking pixels and beacons
Not used. No image, script or request is made to any other server when a page on this site loads. Every illustration on the site is drawn with CSS or inline SVG for this reason.
Browser fingerprinting
Not used. We do not read your fonts, canvas, screen dimensions or device characteristics, and we run no code that would do so.
Web fonts and third-party scripts
Not used. The site uses the typefaces already installed on your device. The only JavaScript on the site is one short first-party file that opens the mobile menu and triggers your browser's own print dialog; you can read it at /static/app.js.
Server access logs
Used. This is the only entry in this list that applies. Our hosting provider records the usual server log line for each request — IP address, date and time, the URL requested, the referring page where one is sent, and the browser's user-agent string. Those logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted. They exist for security, abuse prevention and fault diagnosis, and for nothing else.

Why there is no cookie banner

A consent banner exists so that a visitor can agree to, or refuse, something being stored or tracked. Nothing is stored or tracked here, so a banner would be asking permission for something that is not happening. Putting one up would be untrue as well as irritating, so there is not one.

What actually happens when you load a page

Your browser asks our hosting provider for an HTML file, a stylesheet and one small script, all served from calmtrait.online. The server writes its log line. Your browser draws the page. That is the whole transaction, and no other computer is involved.

After you follow an affiliate link

This changes the moment you leave. If you follow one of the paid affiliate links described on our Affiliate Disclosure page, you arrive at a site run by someone else. The affiliate network that operates the link, and the game publisher it leads to, may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record that the referral came from here. Evropastar s.r.o. does not control that, cannot switch it off and does not see what is stored. Their own cookie and privacy notices are the place to read about it, and they are worth reading before you register anywhere.

Blocking or clearing cookies in general

Although this site gives your browser nothing to block, the controls are worth knowing. Every current browser has a privacy or content settings section where you can refuse cookies from all sites, refuse them only from third parties, clear what is already stored, or clear everything when you close the window. Private or incognito windows discard storage when closed. Blocking cookies everywhere will break sites that genuinely need them — anything you sign in to — so the usual compromise is to block third-party cookies and clear the rest periodically. Your browser's own help pages describe the exact menu, since the wording changes between versions.

If this ever changes

If Evropastar s.r.o. ever introduces a cookie or any similar technology on calmtrait.online, this page will be rewritten to describe it, and a working consent mechanism will be in place before the first cookie is set — not afterwards. We have no plan to do so, because the site has nothing to remember.
